Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality judgement device for an engine cooling system which can precisely judge the abnormality of the cooling capacity adjustment of the engine cooling system. SOLUTION: The device judges whether or not there exists an abnormality of the engine cooling system which cools cooling water flowing out of a water jacket of the internal combustion engine so as to return the cooling water to the water jacket. The device judges that the abnormality exists when the amount of temperature increase of the cooling water per unit time ΔTHWi (the temperature of the cooling water at the inlet THWi) returned from the engine cooling system to flow into the water jacket is equal to or larger than a predetermined judgement value β.
