MOUNTING/DEMOUNTING APPARATUS FOR RUDDER BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting/demounting apparatus for a rudder board, for mounting/demounting the rudder board on/from a ship body easily in a short time without damaging the rudder board and/or the ship body. SOLUTION: The mounting/demounting apparatus 10 comprises a traveling dolly 12, an attachment member 14, which is attached to the traveling dolly 12 by a lifting mechanism 22 and a rotary mechanism 24, and a rudder board retaining unit 16 fitted removably to the attachment member 14. The rudder board retaining unit 16 includes a pair of upper and lower cramping arms 64, 64 and 70, 70, which are fitted to a unit body 48 to be movable in the direction of cramping the rudder board 104 and releasing the hold of the rudder board 104, screw let-off units 65, 71 which move the cramping arms 64, 64, 70, 70 in the directions, and support plates 76, 76, ... which are fitted slidably on the lower cramping arms 70, 70 and support the under surface of the rudder board 104.
