Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for masking the harshness of a preparation for orally administering a calcium hydroxycarboxylate such as calcium L-threonate. SOLUTION: The subject food composition is characterized by containing (1) silica and (2) a calcium hydroxycarboxylate. The calcium hydroxycarboxylate is preferably calcium L-threonate. The food composition preferably further contains guar gum and / or gelatin. The dosage form is preferably a tablet form. It is preferable that the average mass of the tablets is 500 to 2,000 mg.
