Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, capable of preventing image quality deterioration by improving compressibility at compression processing. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus divides image data to be processed into preprocessing blocks corresponding to pixel blocks at the time of compression, executes preprocessings by each preprocessing block, divides the image data after the preprocessing into pixel blocks of a predetermined size, and performs compression by the specified processing by each pixel block.
