HEAT DEVELOPABLE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material having high sensitivity and excellent development stability and an image forming method. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder on at least one surface of a substrate, wherein a silver iodide content of the photosensitive silver halide is ≥40 mol%, and has the photosensitive silver halide on which dye chromophoric groups are adsorbed in multiple layers on its surface.
