SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy for casting is required to have both of the mechanical strength and the thermal fatigue strength; and comprises aluminum as a base metal, in proportions of 4.0-7.0 wt.% Si, 0.4-1.0 wt.% Mg, 0.10 wt.% or less Cu and 0.3 wt.% or less Fe, respectively.
