Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the period of time required for running, by efficiently utilizing accumulated electric power of a secondary battery, in a hybrid railcar that is provided with a generator and the secondary battery that collects regeneration power and whose wheels are driven by a main electric motor on the supplied power from the generator and the accumulated power of the secondary battery. SOLUTION: A reference running curve (Fig. (a)) based on a tractive force reference curve in a case where the accumulated power of the secondary battery is not used is divided by speed zones of a traveling line section to set up a tractive force curve according to the speed zones for every speed zone VR1 to VR3. In this case, the tractive force curve is set up so as to distribute the accumulated power of the secondary battery to the speed zones. Thus, the tractive force F at each speed zone VR1 to VR3 increases and acceleration α is improved so that a revised running curve is made as shown in Fig. (b) that shortens the period of time required for the total traveling line section.
