METHOD FOR PROVIDING SHARED CONTENT-VIEWING SERVICE AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effect equivalent to that for watching a moving video image content off-line together with the other user, through communications of mutual opinions, via chatting messages during the watching of the moving video image by a user etc., using a VOD (Video-On-Demand) service. SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of receiving a chatting room establishment request information from a user: setting up a chatting room: receiving a participation request information for the set-up chatting room from at least one another user: receiving moving video image content selection information from among at least one user among users participated in the set-up chatting room: transmitting the selected content data to clients such as all the users participating in the chatting room, etc.: synchronizing a content reproduction time for all of clients: and controlling the transmission/reception of a chatting message transmitted by the user participated in the chatting room during content reproduction.
