Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of a lithium battery having a fluorine based electrolyte in which the electrolyte is effectively converted into a morphology of good handling nature. SOLUTION: The processing method comprises a hydrolysis process (step 240) in which the treating material containing lithium-transition metal-containing complex oxide (positive electrode active material etc.) and aluminum member (positive electrode current collector etc.) is treated in a high temperature high humidity atmosphere. In this process, lithium hydroxide is generated from the compound oxide and a hydroxide of aluminum is generated from the aluminum member. The aluminum hydroxide originated from the hydroxide is reacted with fluorine-containing substance (for example, PF5) obtained by heating and removing the electrolyte (for example, LiPF6) from the lithium battery (step 282), and a substance with good handling nature (for example, AlF3and AlPO4) is generated (step 284).
