Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus that can execute an application program even when a card type recording medium with the application program recorded is unloaded, and can prevent abuse of the application program. SOLUTION: An application program is read from a card type recording medium 16 and recorded on a memory 13, so that even after the card type recording medium 16 is once removed from a slot part 7, a program likely to be executed again can be executed immediately. An icon showing the application program recorded on the card type recording medium 16 is displayed on a display part 5, and the application program selected from the displayed icon by a remote control part 15 is recorded on the memory 13, so that various on-screen applications can be executed without a connecting cable to a body.
