IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing using an image forming apparatus suited for printing indicated to a mobile agent, among image forming devices connected to a network. SOLUTION: When a digital copier 200 receives a mobile agent 1 from a client device (S11), it executes the interpretation of a process instruction (S12). The identification information of the digital copier 200 is then sent to the client device (S13) and a list of functions is obtained from a device information table 7 (S14). The list of functions is compared with the process instruction of the mobile agent 1 to determine whether or not the process instruction can be executed (S15). When it can be executed (S15, YES), print functions are set (S16) and printing based on these settings is carried out (S17), with the mobile agent 1 sent to a personal computer PC (S18) to end the process.
