Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a fuel pump for a cylinder cut-off internal combustion engine which controls fuel pump drive in consideration of difference between demand fuel amounts of a full-cylinder operation and of a cut-off operation so as to reduce electric power consumption and operation noise of the fuel pump. SOLUTION: By comparing intake tube inner absolute pressure PBA expressing engine load with a threshold value so as to judge the degree of a load, voltage applied to a fuel pump is changed to a larger value with the load increased (S16-S24, S30, S32). The cylinder cut-off internal combustion engine is judged to be at a full-cylinder operation or cut-off operation (S10). When the engine is judged to be at the cut-off operation, the threshold value is set larger than that at the full-cylinder operation (S26, S28). By so doing, voltage applied at the cut-off operation in which the demand fuel amount is small, is held smaller compared with that at the full-cylinder operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
