METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONSTRUCTING PIPELINE WITH LARGE-DIAMETER SECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for constructing a pipeline with a large-diameter section, which are excellent in practicality and which enable a large-diameter pipeline to be simply and inexpensively constructed in a prescribed place of a small-diameter pipeline. SOLUTION: In this method, an excavation body 3 is led into natural ground 24 by using a first jacking jack 2 which is arranged in the prescribed place, so that an adit 5 can be bored, and a plurality of pipe members 4 and 22 are arranged in the adit 5, so that the pipeline can be constructed. The first excavation body 3 and the plurality of pipe members 4 are sequentially jacked and led into the adit 5 by using the jack 2, so that a front section 6 can be arranged; subsequently, the natural ground 24 in the adit 5 is excavated in an expanded manner in the rear of the front section 6, so that a large-diameter pit 26 can be formed; segments 21 are coupled together in the pit 26, so that a large-diameter member 22, which has a larger diameter than the front section 6, can be formed; and the members 22 are sequentially and continuously provided backward, so that the large-diameter section 23 can be arranged in the rear of the front section 6.
