ESTER COMPOUND AND ITS PHARMACEUTICAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a therapeutic or prophylactic agent for hyperlipemia, arteriosclerosis, coronary artery disease, obesity, diabetes or hypertension, comprising a compound selectively inhibiting small intestine MTP (microsome triglyceride transfer protein) and a carrier. SOLUTION: The therapeutic or prophylactic agent contains an ester compound expressed by formula (1") as the MTP inhibitor. In formula (1"), R1and R2are each H or an aryl group, or the like, X is COO or CON(R10), R3, R4, R5, R6or R7are each H, a 1-6C alkyl or a 1-6C alkoxy, or the like, R8or R9are each H, an alkyl, CON(R18)(R19) or COO(R20), or the like, ring A, ring B and ring C are each an aryl or a heterocyclic residue, or the like, Alk1and Alk2are each an alkanediyl, or the like, (l), (m), (o) are each an integer of 1-3.
