APPARATUS FOR BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF SOLID ORGANIC MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR AGITATING SOLID ORGANIC MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for biological treatment of solid organic materials that requires a relatively small installation area for its processing capacity by stacking multistage reaction chambers vertically and can easily give an overturning/agitation effect to the materials to be treated without using an agitator. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a reactor 1 for a microbial degradation of the solid organic materials in which two or more reaction chambers I to IV to be charged with the solid organic materials are stacked vertically. The reaction chambers I to IV each have a mechanism 2 to open the bottom to transfer the charged solid organic materials from each of the reaction chambers I to IV to another chamber located right below or to the outside of the reaction chambers.
