PALPATION DEVICE, PALPATION INSTRUCTION DEVICE AND REMOTE PALPATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a palpation system which realizes massage and remote palpation with a feeling of presence as if a practitioner is directly touching the body of a treatment object from a remote location. SOLUTION: The palpation system has: a palpation device provided with a recessed and projected shape recognition means for recognizing the recessed and projected shape of a pressing object, a partial pressing means for pressing the pressing object, and a communication means; and a palpation instruction device provided with a means for displaying the recessed and projected shape of the pressing object, a partial pressing instruction means for instructing a pressing position and pressing strength, and a communication means. Recessed and projected shape data recognized and generated by the recessed and projected shape recognition means are transmitted to the palpation instruction device and the recessed and projected shape display means displays the recessed and projected shape corresponding to the pressing object on the basis of the recessed and projected shape data. Pressing instruction data generated by the partial pressing instruction means are transmitted to the palpation device and the partial pressing means presses the pressing object on the basis of the pressing instruction data.
