PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a user cannot acquire only one service function regardless of presence of a plurality of service functions corresponding to a telephone number of an inquiry object. SOLUTION: Communication equipment is an extension terminal 4 making communication connection to a DNS server 3 for storing and managing telephone numbers and external NAPTR records corresponding to the telephone numbers and includes: a terminal communication control section 22 for informing the DNS server about a telephone number of an inquiry object; a terminal side control section 26 for acquiring the external NAPTR records corresponding to the telephone number of the inquiry object from the DNS server after informing the DNS server about the telephone number of the inquiry object; and a display section 24 for displaying service functions of an opposite party in the acquired external NAPTR records.
