OPTICAL JUNCTION CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical junction connector in which alignment and optical coupling are easily performed and no expensive device for alignment or optical coupling is required. SOLUTION: The optical junction connector 21 is composed of one optical connector 24 and the other optical connector 25 to be fitted to each other by using a lock part, and an optical waveguide member 23 having an optical waveguide housed in the connector housing 26 of the one optical connector so as to relay and/or to optically multiplex/demultiplex a light signal transmitted through an optical fiber 22. The connector has a structure that: the optical waveguide member 23 is mounted on a member mount base 27 and housed in the connector housing 26; the member mount base 27 has ferrule connecting parts 39, 40 where ferrules 29, 47 of the optical connectors 24, 25, respectively, can be freely inserted and pulled out; and the ferrules 29, 47 are pressed to the member mount base 27.
