SEPARATION METHOD OF FULLERENE C60

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently separating a large amount of high-purity C60 from a fullerene mixture. SOLUTION: The method for separating fullerene C60 is characterized by the following: a fullerene mixture at least containing fullerene C60 is mixed with a first solvent and active carbon and then filtered to yield a first liquid with a raised percentage of fullerene C60; then the active carbon is washed with a second solvent to yield a second liquid; and the operation of filtrating the first liquid and the second liquid by bringing them into contact with new active carbon is carried out at least one time to collect the filtrate to separate fullerene C60.
