HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device designed to suppress the swinging of a reflection member. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a display source 15 designed to indicate display information; a reflection member 14, supported in a revolution-free manner by a frame member 18, which is fitted to a vehicle; and adjustment means 19, designed to adjust the revolving position of the reflection member 14 through a gear mechanism. In this head-up display device, when the indication light containing indication information, shown on the display source 15, is reflected on an reflection member 14 toward the projection area on the windshield side, and when the frontal view of the vehicle, seen through the windshield from the eye point and the virtual images, projected at the projection area, are recognized as a superposed image, the revolving position of the reflection member 14 is adjusted by means of adjustment means 19, so that the indication light will progress toward the eye point. This head-up display device is arranged to be equipped with regulation means 44 and 76, designed to allow the transfer of the reflection member 14 toward the revolving direction to the revolving area of the reflection member 14, which can be adjusted by adjustment means 19, and to prevent other moves of the reflection member 14.
