Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite particle composed of crushed natural zeolite and powder of titanium dioxide combining adsorption characteristics of the zeolite and optical characteristics of the dioxide serving as a semiconductor photocatalyst. SOLUTION: The particle is a composite particle composed of different ingredients and is formed by adding a crushed natural zeolite and powder of titanium dioxide to a binder-containing solution and spraying-drying the resultant slurry. A photocatalyst consisting of the composite particle composed of crushed zeolite and powder of the dioxide and having an adsorbing ability is also provided. The photocatalyst composite particle catalyzes decomposition reaction of an adsorbed organic compound when excited by irradiation with UV rays. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
