Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter, a medical care equipment and a treatment method for an organ of a living body, which can treat diseased tissue by heating and cooling down the organ of the living body in a very short time of period with no fear of possibility of giving a damage caused by overheating to the balloon. SOLUTION: The balloon catheter comprises a proximal connecting accessary having a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and an energy port, a catheter shaft having two lumens for a fluid inlet and outlet to the balloon, a heating member, and the balloon. The proximal connecting accessary and a proximal part of the catheter shaft, and a distal part of the catheter shaft and a proximal part of the balloon are respectively connected. The heating member is provided in the distal part of the catheter shaft so as to be in touch with the fluid flowing into the balloon. The organ can be treated with the medical care apparatus, which heats up a diseased area of the organ from 35-45°C to 60-90°C within 30 seconds, pressurizes the balloon to dilate the diseased area, and then cools it down to 45°C or less than 45°C within 40 seconds.
