STERILIZATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization device capable of safely, easily and efficiently sterilizing books and documents, etc., in a short time by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The sterilization device is composed of a sterilization container 2 provided with a door 12 on the front surface, a sterilization lamp 22 provided inside the sterilization container 2 for emitting ultraviolet rays with a sterilization function, a control part 11 for controlling the wavelength and irradiation time of the ultraviolet rays of the sterilization lamp 22, and a holding material 21 formed in a net shape for instance for holding objects such as the books and the documents inside the sterilization container 2. At least the opposing surface of a position where the sterilization lamp 22 is installed of the inner wall surfaces of the sterilization container 2 is constituted of a material which reflects the ultraviolet rays.
