Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular controller and a vehicular control method by which a vehicle can go up a slope by suppressing a slip on the slope by estimating a state of starting on the slope by an operation procedure of a driver of the vehicle. SOLUTION: One of front/rear wheels is driven by an internal combustion engine and the other is driven by a motor in the controller for a four-wheel driving vehicle. It is estimated whether the vehicle is in a state of starting on the slope or not from the operation procedure of the driver of the vehicle. Generated power of a generator for driving a motor is changed when it is estimated that the vehicle is in the state of starting on the slope.
