PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set order of processing information signals if an information signal input or output format is changed in an information signal processing system using a plurality of processing substrates. SOLUTION: A control section 204 judges whether received transmission data Din are destined to a present apparatus based on a substrate ID contained in a leading header among headers separated from the transmission data Din. If the transmission data Din are destined to the present apparatus, a signal processing section 205 processes an image signal SV separated from the transmission data Din or inputted directly based on processing information (command, control parameter) contained in the leading header. A header generating section 206 generates a header DH' to be composed with a processed image signal SV' fundamentally based on the processing information contained in the headers DH.
