Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide customer station equipment capable of automatically avoiding phenomena such as intermission of voice, generation of a noise and disconnection of a line before they occur when the transmission speed of a DSL line reduces. SOLUTION: The customer station equipment is provided with a means 14 for measuring a line speed of a transmission path in a DSL section; a means 15 for calculating a transmission speed required for communication from the number of voice lines and the kind of voice coding; a means 13 for comparing the detected line speed with the obtained necessary transmission speed, and blocking at least one part of the plurality of housed voice lines if the detected line speed becomes smaller than the necessary transmission speed; the means 13 for releasing the blocking of the blocked voice lines when the line speed is restored; and a means 16 for giving information to an apparatus in a station when the voice lines are blocked or the blocking is released.
