Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method and a program for providing location information for an automated data storage library using GPS. SOLUTION: One or a plurality of GPS antennas and receivers are coupled to the automated data storage library to acquire quick and accurate location information for the automated data storage library. The location information may be used to determine the physical location of the automated data storage library. The GPS antennas may be attached to one or a plurality of library frames in the automated data storage library to acquire accurate location information for each frame.
