PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a personal computer to be easily operated. SOLUTION: A HID application program 251 designates a virtual driver 253 to a serial manager 252, and the virtual driver 253 transmits a descriptor showing a function as a pointing device, to a personal computer 13 through a USB bus interface 281. The HID application program 251 converts operation data inputted by a user to a data format based on HID specifications, and a logical device 292 converts operation data so that it conforms to protocols of USB. The USB bus interface 281 outputs the operation data which is converted so as to conform to protocols of USB, to the personal computer 13.
