Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving chip and a display device having the same. SOLUTION: The driving chip includes a base body which has long and short sides, an input terminal section which is formed at a 1st end along the long side of the base body, and an output terminal section which is formed at a 2nd end at a specified distance from the 1st end along the long side. The input terminal section and output terminal section are formed in a region where the distance from the center line of the driving chip to the short side is ≤9d/10. Here, (d) is the distance from the center line of the driving chip to the short side. The input terminal section and output terminal section of the driving chip are formed in the region, except an edge region, which is close to the short side where stress concentrates, and then the reliability of coupling between the driving chip and a display panel can be improved.
