Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat developable photosensitive material exhibiting low fog and high covering power (CP), and to provide a fine particle silver halide emulsion for the same. SOLUTION: The silver halide emulsion uses, as a dispersant, a polymer which dissolves both in water and in an organic solvent, wherein the average size of silver halide particles contained in the silver halide emulsion is 0.005 to 0.1 μm and the coefficient of variation of the particle size is 0 to 30%.
