INSULATION MONITORING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate an insulation monitoring signal for monitoring the insulation condition of a circuit connected to the output side of a transformer. SOLUTION: The device controls the switching operation of a first MOSFET 35a and a second MOSFET 35b according to the level of a pulse signal generated by a comparator 34. The pulse signal is amplified by outputting a pulse based on a DC power source VDDwhen the first MOSFET 35a is on, and by outputting a pulse based on a DC power source VSSwhen the second MOSFET 35b is on. A loss occurring when the pulse signal is amplified is thereby prevented, generating an insulation monitoring signal for large amount of power efficiently. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
