COMPLEX TYPE SILENCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer easily manufacturable and capable of providing high sound-deadening effects for both high and low frequency sounds. SOLUTION: A sound absorbing material layer 4 and a resonant chamber 5 are arranged on the wind passage wall part of a ventilating route 2, parallel with each other, in the circumferential direction of the wind route so that all the periphery of the ventilating route 2 can be surrounded by the sound absorbing material layer 4 and the resonant chamber 5 in the view of cross section of the wind route. In this arrangement, both the sound absorbing material layer 4 and the resonant chamber 5 are continuously disposed in the ventilating passage 2 in the ventilating direction.
