Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic thermal spraying method capable of uniformly depositing rigid carbide cermet films having an excellent abrasion resistance, cavitation resistance and erosion resistance by using automatic thermal spraying equipment on the surfaces to be thermally sprayed, such as the inner wall surfaces, horizontal surfaces and external wall surfaces of a large-sized circular steel structure and educing the functions of the thermally sprayed films to the maximum possible extent. SOLUTION: After the position of a thermal spraying gun 95 is determined (point A), the thermal spraying of the first horizontal surface F12 is performed while the thermal spraying gun 95 is rotated clockwise by the length shorter by α than one rotation. The thermal spraying trajectory is then changed (here the radius of rotation of the thermal spraying gun 95 is made smaller) and then, the thermal spraying is performed in a reverse direction (counterclockwise) for the length of the one rotation-α. Next, the radius of rotation of the thermal spraying gun 95 is made further smaller and thereafter again the rotating direction is changed and the thermal spraying is performed for the distance of the one rotation-α, and thence the radius of rotation is made smaller and the thermal spraying is performed counterclockwise for the one rotation-α.
