Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam stabilizer which gives a foam-molded article having fine and uniform cells, being light-weighted and exhibiting excellent mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The foam stabilizer comprises a fine particle having an average particle size dx and an apparent specific volume V satisfying the following expressions (a) and (b): (a) 0.01≤dx≤30; and (b) 2.5≤V≤30, wherein dx is the average particle size (μm) as measured by means of an electromicroscopic photograph and V is the apparent specific volume (ml/g) as measured by the still standing method in the pigment testing method prescribed by JIS K 5101-91 20.1.
