PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound having agonist activity to peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor δ (PPARδ) and useful as an agent for raising the blood concentration of high density lipoprotein (HDL), therapeutic agent for low HDL lipoproteinemia and/or treating agent for arteriosclerosis. SOLUTION: There is provided a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R1to R8are each H, hydroxy, a 1-6C alkyl which may have a substituent, or the like; R9and R10are each H, a 1-6C alkyl which may have a substituent; R11and R12are each H, F, a 1-6C alkyl which may have a substituent, or the like; W1and W2are each O, S, or the like; and R13is carboxy, a 2-7C alkoxycarbonyl which may have a substituent, or the like, provided that at least one of R9and R10is not H, or they are not H at the same time) or its salt.
