Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire and its manufacturing method having an innerliner for prevention or retardation of air/moisture vapor permeation from an inner chamber into the remainder of the tire. SOLUTION: The tire is constituted so that the innerliner layer is made of an isobutylene copolymer elastomer-based composition which contains a dispersion of carbon black and precipitated silica reinforcement together with a coupling agent. In one aspect, the coupling agent is a bis (3-triethoxysilylpropyl) polysulfide which contains an average of from 2 to 4, preferably from 2 to 2.6, connecting sulfur atoms in its polysulfide bridge.
