BASE MATERIAL FOR COSMETIC IMPREGNATION, AND FACE-COVERING COSMETIC SHEET USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for cosmetic impregnation and a face-covering cosmetic sheet using this which are soft to the touch, which are bulky, where a sheet is easily opened when it is taken out when cosmetic-impregnated articles are folded and packed in a package, and which fit well when mounted to the face etc. SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric is obtained by laminating: an inner layer consisting of heat adhesive synthetic fiber containing ≥5 mass % and ≤70 mass % heat adhesive synthetic fiber; and surface layers consisting of water absorbing fiber containing ≥60 mass % water absorbing fiber on both the surfaces of the inner layer. A part of the fiber constituting the inner layer and a part of the fiber constituting both of the surface layers are mixed to be integrated as a whole. The nonwoven fabric is hydroentagled in a thickness direction and bonded with heat by the thermal bond synthetic fiber to obtain the base material for cosmetic impregnation where bending resistance measured according to the JIS L 1096 6.19.5 E method (handleometer method) is ≥30 g and ≤80 g in the total of the nonwoven fabric in a winding direction and a width direction.
