PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely assure security in a terminal device which calls user's attention about whether it is in status that security is secured based on an image displayed on a system information display area such as a pictograph etc. SOLUTION: A portable telephone terminal is provided with a system information display region 11a which displays status of the portable telephone terminal according to processing of a system program 13p mounted beforehand, an indicator 11 configured of an application execution result display area 11b which displays a predetermined image according to processing of a download program 14p read from the system program 13p or from outside, a frame buffer 17 which is composed of a memory area 17a which stores image data of an image displayed in the indicator 11, and a memory area 17b, and an MMU 16 which permits access only for the system program 13p to the memory area 17a.
