SURFACE-MOUNTED ELECTRONIC MODULE AND ITS EXAMINATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted electronic module in which a positioning state can be easily detected and an electric circuit is not destroyed during examination, and its examination method. SOLUTION: The surface-mounted electronic module comprises a square-shaped or rectangle-shaped insulating substrate 1 with a desired electric circuit formed thereon, and a plurality of terminal groups, and each terminal group is comprised of a plurality of external circuit connection terminal portions 7, three grounding terminal portions 8 which are connected with each other by grounding conductors, and one non-conductive portion 9. The grounding terminal portions 8 are disposed at point-symmetrical three positions around a center C of the insulating substrate 1, and the non-conductive portion 9 is disposed at another one position. Thus, its configuration is simplified, it can be surely decided by a voltage detecting means 15 whether the surface-mounted electronic module is normally positioned or erroneously positioned relatively to a guide member, and any electric circuit is not destroyed during an examination.
