Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current lead for a superconducting coil capable of enhancing the reliability of electric insulation between a current lead body and the superconducting coil, in particular, maintaining prescribed electric insulating performance even when a degree of vacuum in a vacuum vessel is decreased. SOLUTION: The current leads for the superconducting coil are configured such that a current is supplied to the superconducting coil installed in the vacuum vessel 2 and cooled via the current lead body 7a from the outside of the vacuum vessel, and electric insulating materials (10, 13, 12) enclose the electric connection part between lead wires 6 of the insulation-coated superconducting coil and a current lead body low temperature side terminals 8. Accordingly, an air-tight space is formed independently of the vacuum layer in the vacuum vessel in the current leads for the superconducting coil placed in the vacuum vessel over the whole of the outer circumferential parts of the vacuum vessel penetrated part of the current lead body, the electric connection part, and the lead wire ends so that a high level part of the current leads and a ground level part of the vacuum vessel or the vacuum vessel internal member are electrically insulated.
