Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a locking mechanism having good operability in which it is not necessary to continue the operation of releasing the lock when separating a second connector from a first connector. SOLUTION: A shell 40 of a printed circuit board side connector is provided with a folded spring 47. An insulator 120 of a cable side connector is installed with a lock lever 130. The lock lever is elastically deformable and comprises a taper part 134, a chin part 135, and a hook part 136. When the cable side connector is fitted to the printed circuit board side connector, the chin part is locked to a lock hole of the shell by the guidance of the taper part and thus the hook part makes the spring elastically deform downward. When the lock is released, once a lock operation part 126 is operated, even if the operation does not subsequently continue, the chin part is released from the lock by the lock hole, the spring restores upward, and the hook part catches in an edge 48 of the spring, and thus the restoration of the lock lever is limited.
