SOLENOID VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost by using the same components for both types of valves in manufacturing the valves normally opened and normally closed in the unenergized state. SOLUTION: This solenoid valve is composed of a valve housing 1 having a valve seat 4 and a valve member 3; and an electromagnet 2 having an armature 25 acting on the valve member 3 with at least one spring 6. The valve housing 1 has two opposite connecting surfaces (one connecting surface is 1b), whereby in order to manufacture both of the valve opened in the unenergized state and the valve closed in the unenergized state, the valve housing 1 can be selectively connected to the electromagnet 2 by the connecting surfaces (one connecting surface is 1b). On the other hand, in order to manufacture both of the valve opened in the unenergized state and the valve closed in the unenergized state, in the valve housing 1, the valve seat 4 and the valve member 3 are selectively disposed in a first position or in a second position in the valve housing 1.
