APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING COOLING LIQUID ONTO BORING MACHINE FOR MOLTEN PIG IRON TAPPING HOLE IN BLAST FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supplying cooling liquid onto a boring machine for molten pig iron tapping hole in a blast furnace with which atomized liquid amount for cooling can easily be adjusted. SOLUTION: The cooling liquid supplying apparatus 1 is constituted with; a first blowing passage 2 for supplying pressed air from a gas supplying source 50 onto the boring machine through which the gas supplying source 50 communicates with the boring machine; a second flowing passage 3 communicating with a vessel 11 holding water by dividing from the first flowing passage 2 and for pressurizing the inner part of the vessel 11 with the pressure of the gas supplying source 50; a pressure reducing valve 16 arranged at the downstream position from a dividing point A into the second flowing passage 3 in the first flowing passage 2; and a third flowing passage 4 for supplying the water from the pressed vessel 11 into the first flowing passage 2 through which the downstream position at the setting position of the pressure reducing valve 16 in the first flowing passage 2 communicates with the vessel.
