Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic sludge volume reduction system capable of reducing the installation space. SOLUTION: The organic sludge volume reduction system 1 is equipped with an unsolubilization apparatus 7 having an up-flow part R1 for solubilizing organic sludge, a solid/liquid separation part 53 for separating unsolubilized components from liquid components in the upper part of the up-flow part R1, an unsolubilized component recovery part 55 for recoverying the unsolubilized components S1, an unsolubilized component circulation passages L2, L3 for returning the recovered unsolubilized components S1 to the lower part of the up-flow part R1, and an up-flow type anaerobic treatment apparatus 2 for anaerobically treating the liquid components W1 separated in the solid/liquid separation part 53.
