MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CALL TERMINATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and a method for controlling incoming calls, which can avoid called party's disadvantage caused by origination. SOLUTION: When a control part 123 recognizes a call termination via communication part 6, it refers to various IDs stored in a data storage part 14, according to a call termination determining program 133, and determines if there is an ID matching the terminated telephone number. If the control part 123 determines that there is no relevant ID in the data storage part 14, it transmits an off-hook signal to the originator as a reply signal in accordance with a transmission control program 134, so that, when the originator receives an off-hook signal, the originator is placed in the same state as that when the line is connected to the destination and is charged for it. Accordingly, an action for placing a crank call is suppressed. If a termination call does not continue for a fixed period of time, call termination history will not be recorded.
