CLOGGING-RESISTANT SYNTHETIC FIBER MAT AND NET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make troubles in the construction industry disappear, by solving such problems that peat moss, fur, slime, etc., is adhered to a surface attaching to the ground, etc., of a synthetic fiber mat or net which is used in preventing run-off of earth and sand, filtering the earth and sand, treating a bank to stabilize it, etc., when the mat or net is wetted by water, then clogging of the mat or net is caused and water-permeabilities thereof are deteriorated, and therefore the mat or net does not act as a water-permeating material. SOLUTION: A clogging-resistant synthetic fiber mat or net is formed by coating a synthetic fiber mat or net with a powder which is formed by pulverizing a far-infrared ray-radiating mineral, a photocatalytic metal oxide, titanium dioxide, etc. Thus, a cause of the clogging of the synthetic fiber mat or net due to rot of the water contacting therewith is removed by efficacy of an alkaline olivine.
