Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefin polymerization catalyst which can together be used with an existing olefin polymerization catalyst without using an expensive special cocatalyst. SOLUTION: This olefin polymerization catalyst comprises (A) a solid catalyst component comprising (A-1) a porous inorganic carrier carrying a magnesium compound, (A-2) an organic aluminum halide compound represented by the following formula [1]: AlRnX13-n[1] [R is an alkyl; X1is a halogen atom; (n) is 0 to 2], and (A-3) a complex of a transition metal in the groups 8 to 10 of the periodic table, and (B) an organoaluminum compound.
