Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover device that can sufficiently protect a protected object and can be reused without forgetting to remove the object when the protection is not required. SOLUTION: The protective cover device 22 comprises a cover body 24, attaching/detaching sections 26 formed at both ends in the longitudinal direction of it, and a warning section which abuts on a mounted body to be mounted to the protected object, prevents the mounted body from contacting with the protected object, and warns not to forget to remove the protective cover device 22 when the cover body 24 is not removed from the protected object. The warning section is, for example, formed integrally with an operation knob 26b for opening or closing an engaging claw 26a constituting the attaching/detaching sections 26.
