PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder selectively grinding a workpiece with a cam part as a non-round body as, for example, a camshaft, a workpiece having a pin part as a round body to revolve as, for example, the crankshaft and a cylindrical workpiece of the round body. SOLUTION: A rotating cam part grinding data memory part 55, a revolving pin part grinding data memory part 56 and a rotating round body grinding data memory part 57 are provided on a RAM 45 provided on a control part 42 of a numerical control device 41, and a grinding data selection part 58 is provided. The camshaft, the crankshaft or the cylindrical workpiece is ground by using either one data of a camshaft grinding profile data and a crankshaft grinding program data for motors for main spindles 5A, 5B, a linear motor 17 and a built-in motor 15.
