Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve conventional problems, in the clad material manufacturing, in which cadmium material as raw material melts, causing loss of aging treatment of aluminum material and need of costly and large-scale equipment to prevent pollution or oxidation, and in which conditions for rolling is difficult to set. SOLUTION: The clad material is obtained by arranging the cadmium material in a recess formed on the surface of one or both aluminum materials of the two that have a nearly identical shape, bringing the two surfaces of both aluminum materials into contact with each other, joining the outer circumferential part of the contact faces by electron beam welding in vacuum to produce a clad base material, and then by rolling the base material under a total draft of 40-90% to obtain the clad material.
